Not every week comes with a launch, a sale, or a perfect photo. But that doesn’t mean you should go silent. Here’s what to post when you feel like you’ve got nothing.
Repurpose Content
You’ve already created some stellar content, and there’s no reason you can’t repurpose it. Turn blog posts into carousels, pull quotes from customer testimonials, or make FAQs into a reel. It may take a bit of creativity, but older content still has value, no matter what form it’s in.
Go Behind the Scenes
No matter what your brand or business looks like, your audience will enjoy a peek behind the curtain. A day-in-the-life video, a snapshot of your process, or an explanation of the tools you use daily, whether it’s software or supplies, can go a long way. Especially if you’re a small business, sharing the moments that feel less polished is a great way to show authenticity.
React to Something Relevant
Reshare a story from your industry with your take on it, react to a recent trend or article, or give your opinion on a topic people are talking about. Let your audience know you’re engaged and have something to say.
Educate or Explain
What goes into running your business? How can someone get the most out of your product or service? How did you get started? Answering questions like these in a post or short series is a great way to highlight your expertise and help your audience feel more connected to your work.
Reflect or Reconnect
Talk about why you started your business or what goals are driving you right now. Reconnect with your community by responding to comments in a post, sharing other brands you admire, or spotlighting someone you’ve partnered with.
Even when you feel like you have nothing to say, showing up still matters. The simplest posts often remind your audience who you are and why they keep following.
